Pros and cons of Tuner Internet Radio app for iPhone and iPad

Tuner Internet Radio app good for

Not bad, but there is no support for media like Real Audio and WM (i.e. unable to listen to BBC)
Lots of stations to choose from but a small percentage do not work. One update away from 5 stars.
Unlike Wunder Radio this app gives access to Live365 which gives it a 20,000 station lead.
Yes folks, its not all music. For those with more than 2 brian cells to their name it has informative programing as well. Not to imply that all talk radio is informative that is. It may not be as slick as some wunder radio but live 365 access makes this a winner for me.
Really good app. Definitely worth the 5$... The only drawback is that it stops the music upon exit. You can close your phone and will still play on standby.
Great app. Works perfectly over 3G, fast loading and almost no lag or hicups. Ive been listening to CBC Radio3 streaming in my car! Amazing.

Some bad moments

This app has more drops than MonkeyBall, more jumps than World 9 and more crashes than NitroKart. It cant seem to hold onto even a 96k stream (over WiFi) for more than a couple of minutes without dropping it, and when it does work there are pops, skips and glitches in the sound all the time (the same streams work perfectly in my desktop player). Support/documentation is non-existant, and while it claims to support custom (ie. non-ShoutCast) streams it cannot detect a stations name from its stream and provides no interface for manually renaming it, leaving you with a long list of bookmarks called Untitled Station. On the plus side the icon is very pretty and the EQ visualizer lets you randomly change its colour. Im hoping for an update to this app soon to bring some level of usability to what is a very promising, if poorly executed, idea.
While loading screen is showing it crashs to desktop... With former OS all was fine
I bought it to see that every other radio-app is much better. This one works with just a few stations!!!!!
I used to think this was a good app, but it hasnt been improved. For the same price, you can get Wunder Radio and have the ultimate world radio in your iPhone.
I dont have 3G yet, but on WiFi, Ive experienced a bit of the future; now present for some of you. I have to restart my router sometimes but thats my ISP prob . The latest update means people like myself can add DI.FM Premium streams, very cool.
Much better options are out there. Flycast is free and more reliable. Then theres Wunder Radio for other streams. Nullsoft seems to have given Tuner up for dead.
